Devon County show time is nearly here again the start of the show season and cheese competitions. At the moment on the farm the cows are still in their winter quarters with such a wet spring our fields just aren't dry enough to turn them out. One of the problems of farming on these culm measures ( heavy clay ground). Lets hope it means that we will get a better summer than last year and at least be able to make some good silage.
At the end of the month I have been invited once again to the Spring festival with Waitrose at Leckford in Hampshire, an event I really enjoyed.

Our cheese is available to send all year round for a birthday, an anniversary, a celebration, congratulations or just a thank you. A cheese by post leaflet can be downloaded, write your own gift tag and we will put this in with the cheese and send direct. A unique Devon gift. Crediton Farmer's Market on the first Sat in the month 9am until 1pm.
Ottery St Mary Market on the first Friday in the month.
Budleigh Salterton on 4th Friday in the month
