Things to be aware of,-

JANUARY, FEBRUARY, MARCH

At this early time of the year it can be cold and damp in the early mornings and in the evenings, so if you are intending to take in the early morning trip to find a "Displying Male Houbara Bustard" you will require warm and waterproof clothing,  but the sun can get very hot during the day so bring along your sun cream.

Birds of interest seen.

During our  stay we visit all the major inland sites at least twice each week, the spieces seen each day vary from 28 upwards to our best day of 45 spieces. During the months we had an extraodinary amount of siteings of the Egyptian Vulture, single and in pairs.

On the  reserve at "Jarde Farm", it was good to see Houbara bustard displaying, and such a veriety of other birds.  There are proposals to erect wooden hides on four of the major sites, two hides at Catalina Garcia, (one now on site but locked !!!) one hide at Las Panitas ( valley of the palms), one hide at Los Molinos Reservios, is now installed but is locked!! and one hide at La Rosa del Taro should be installed by the end of 2007
