One local event that is fast becoming a nationally recognised outdoor music weekend is Whiteford Music Festival in July (Friday 18th - Sunday 20th). You can view details on line at www.whitefordfestival.co.uk but we have attended this for several years and would unreservedly recommend it to you. To encourage you further, for this weekend we have reduced our prices for (B & B) accommodation down to £25 per person per night (minimum 2 nights) saving £40 per couple - or £37 per night for a single person, saving £26. If you stay with us we can obtain tickets at a specially reduced price and also provide you with a hamper for whichever events you wish to attend.
We also have lots of Special Interest Holidays taking place this year.
Bird Watchers had a great time in April - not quite so many species identified as last year (73 in total, including quite a few rare ones), but they also recorded 46 different wild flowers and 11 butterflies.
If you'd like to visit some of the most interesting, delightful gardens in Devon and Cornwall, then there is still space on our Visiting Gardens week, Sunday 18th to Friday 23rd May inclusive. Eight or nine gardens of immense variety should satisfy most appetites. The delicious dinners that greet your return to Hampton Manor each evening, will do the rest. The total cost (for accommodation, all meals including packed lunches, transport and entrance fees) is £250 per person (assuming two people share a double or twin en-suite bedroom).
If you are a single person and wish to occupy one of our twin or double rooms on your own, then for all of our activities we have to charge a single supplement of £12 per night.
In June we are now fully booked with our ever- popular Painting Week (Monday 9th to Friday 13th June) while later in July we are hoping to offer a Fishing Week (that's if we have cast our net wide enough to get a viable number). September will be our Walking Week again, October can be great time to capture the Autumnal effects with our Photography week, while Bridge players may want to enquire about our special five day (Sunday Eve to Friday eve) in November.
