If you are feeling the effects of the recession, but are still in need of a break, then may we suggest that you look no further than Hampton Manor. We are still maintaining the high standards that we would expect when we go on holiday (whilst always looking to improve in any way we can) but are keeping our prices as low as we possibly can. Much to the annoyance of our accountant we can honestly say we don't make a profit at Hampton Manor! We just aim to break even.
Although our prices start at just £35 per person B & B (for two sharing) we also offer various discounts at different times of the year (for example in February and November we are offering three nights for the price of two) and also offer discounts through various advertisers, so please give as much detail as you can when making enquiries, about how you got to hear about Hampton Manor. We also offer discounts of 5%, 10% or even 15% for longer stays, as well as group discounts - so please contact us by phone or e-mail and we will send you the details.
The Whiteford Music Festival (just a few miles away) takes place over the weekend of July 17th - 19th and we are able to offer special discounts on accommodation for that weekend as well as discounts on tickets booked through us.
We also have various activity weeks happening during the course of the year. These are also really good value for money because we assume a group discount.
We had a great time during our Bird Watching Week in April (77 different birds identified) and although numbers were disappointingly low on our "Visiting Gardens" Week in May (17th - 22nd) the weather was far better than forecast (occasionally cloudy but no rain) and we had a lovely time.
In June (8th - 12th) our Painting & Prayer Week takes place.
September (13th - 18th) is our Christian Ramblers Week then finally
in October (11th - 16th) we have our Photography Week.
Yoy don't have to be an "expert" to come on any of these activities. We know that you will enjoy them whatever your level of skill or knowledge is. Please contact us for further details, but don't leave it too late. Some people have been disappointed because some courses have already been fully booked while on the other hand, we have had to cancel a few activities because there hasn't been enough take-up to make them viable. (We keep our prices as low as we can - for your benefit, but that means we do need a reasonable number on each event.)
