Arthurian Cornwall - Myth and Reality
Practical, Creative and Inspirational Writing Courses
12-14 September and 3-5 October 2008
Arthurian myth, legend and historical fact are the theme for these activity based practical courses.
On the first day we explore the key historic sites and landscapes of North Cornwall which have been associated with the Arthurian legends for centuries. Our journey takes us from dramatic coastal scenery to wild and remote Bodmin Moor, including Tintagel castle and church, King Arthur's Halls, Slaughterbridge and Dozmary Pool. The second day comprises a writing workshop aimed at enabling you to use what you have learnt and experienced creatively. one course will cover short stories and historical fiction and the oter will focus on poetry.
In addition when you have revised and edited the work that you have written during the workshop you may email up to 2500 words for a critique and development suggestions.
